WHAT IS INNER WHEEL?

The idea of Inner Wheel was conceived around 1924 by a group of Rotarian's wives in Manchester, England.  The purpose was to help the needy and underprivileged.  The club which was founded inspired others to follow suit and there were soon a number of Inner Wheel clubs around the world. The movement was so successful that it got international recognition. By 1967, it had become the INTERNATIONAL INNER WHEEL.

Inner Wheel is a nonsectarian and nonpolitical organisation. The United Nations recognizes it as "Non-Governmental Organisation" (N.G.O).
